Samsung Reportedly Launches AI Transformation to Embed AI Across All Business Processes

According to South Korean media, Samsung is launching an AI transformation (AX) to integrate AI into the overall operations of all its subsidiaries and across all business processes, including R&D, production, procurement, logistics, marketing, sales, service, and management support. The initiative aims to embed AI into major business areas such as semiconductors, smartphones, finance, biotechnology, and construction, and to fundamentally reshape how the organization operates by enhancing AI utilization capabilities from the executive team to general employees. All subsidiaries will establish dedicated AI divisions responsible for developing AI transformation strategies, managing data, operating AI models, and cultivating AI talent. Additionally, it is said that Samsung plans to officially introduce external generative AI services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude to all affiliates this month, and aims to complete AI training for all employees by the end of the year.
