According to Korean media reports, Samsung plans to manufacture the base die for HBM4 using its 4nm process. Consequently, it is estimated that approximately half of the total capacity at Samsung Foundry—the chip manufacturing arm of Samsung Electronics—will be allocated to the production of HBM4 base dies.
