According to sources cited by media, CXMT is considering building a new 12-inch DRAM fab in Yizhuang, about 20 km southeast of central Beijing. The sources also indicated that the company is in discussions with the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area regarding investment and financing plans, seeking at least 60 million yuan in financial support. Several other state-owned tech enterprises have also expressed interest in participating in the financing. It is worth noting that the negotiations remain at an early stage, and the size and structure of any funding package could still be subject to change.

Impacted by export controls, the shortage of advanced domestic computing cards has spread, leading to mismatched components in server production. Consequently, end customers in the domestic server market currently hold relatively high inventories of 3.84TB eSSDs. Furthermore, the increasingly diversified supply channels for domestic NAND are dampening short-term procurement momentum for domestic server eSSDs. Driven by these demand discrepancies, price acceptance for eSSDs among domestic and international server customers diverged in the third quarter. CFM estimates that Q3 price increases for eSSDs across different vendors will vary, ranging from 10% to 30%.

According to industry sources cited in media reports, Samsung Electronics' foundry division is currently operating at roughly 70% to 80% capacity utilization. Driven by demand from major U.S. tech companies for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) base dies and advanced products, and given the current order backlog and contract progress, the division has set a target of achieving 100% capacity utilization in the second half of this year. It is capable of end-to-end completion of complex, open-ended goals with minimal human intervention, delivering trustworthy results. Qwen3.8's API pricing for domestic users are as follows: input costs 12 RMB per million tokens, output costs 36 RMB per million tokens, and implicit cache hits cost 1.5 RMB per million tokens.

According to industry insiders cited by media reports, CXMT's LPDDR6 is approaching the final stage of R&D validation, marking a critical step before mass production. Sources indicate that CXMT's first LPDDR6 product is designed with a rated data rate of 12800 Mbps, a baseline operating data rate of 10667 Mbps when working in tandem with system SoCs, a 16Gb per-die capacity, and a 1295-ball POP (Package-on-Package) package. Compared with its LPDDR5X predecessor, the new chip features notable optimizations in low-power design and upgraded RAS (Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability) functions. In March of this year, CXMT shipped LPDDR6 samples to core customers, and is expected to achieve the world's first mass production launch in the second half of 2026.

In the second quarter of 2026, MediaTek reached consolidated net sales of NT$152.183 billion, up 1.2% year-on-year and 2% quarter-on-quarter. Consolidated operating income was NT$22.868 billion, down 22.2% year-on-year and 0.1% quarter-on-quarter. It is reported that Moonshot AI has completed its Series F funding round, raising over $3.5 billion and reaching a post-money valuation of $35 billion. Kioxia’s UFS 5.0 solutions are now available as commercial samples in 1 TB and 512 GB capacities. Mass production is expected to begin by the end of 2026.

Built on the latest JEDEC UFS 5.0 standard, Kioxia's new devices leverage the MIPI M-PHY v6.0 physical layer and UniPro v3.0 protocol, including HS-Gear6 operation, to support theoretical interface speeds of up to 46.6 Gb/s per lane and approximately 10.8 GB/s of effective dual-lane read/write performance.
