Raspberry Pi officially announced a price adjustment for some 16GB products. The company said that due to insufficient alternative supply of 16GB DRAM, coupled with continued shortages of other components, it has had to further raise prices for some high-density products. Specifically, the 16GB version of Raspberry Pi 5 is increasing by $80 to $385; the 16GB version of Compute Module 5 is increasing by $40. Products with other specifications remain at their original prices. The company said the memory tightness is a phased issue and looks forward to being able to cancel the price increase plan when memory costs decline again.
