The 3rd Generation Intel Core Ultra Processor Officially Launched

On March 12th, Intel held a new product sharing event in Shanghai, officially launching the 3rd Generation Intel Core Ultra Processor. As the world's first consumer-grade computing platform built on Intel's 18A process technology, this processor utilizes RibbonFET all-around gate transistors and PowerVia back-end power supply technology, achieving a qualitative leap in performance and energy efficiency. In terms of performance, the 3rd Generation Core Ultra offers up to 16 cores, integrates a 5th generation NPU (NPU 5), with an independent computing power of 50 TOPS and a total platform computing power of up to 180 TOPS, capable of running large language models with 70 billion parameters locally. The integrated graphics use the Xe³ architecture, combined with XeSS 3 multi-frame generation technology, resulting in over 77% better gaming performance than its predecessor, allowing thin and light laptops to smoothly run AAA titles.
