Apple Reportedly Considers Outsourcing Device Chip Production to Intel and Samsung

According to media reports, Apple has held exploratory discussions with Intel and Samsung Electronics regarding the production of main processors for its devices. The move aims to secure alternative suppliers beyond its long-term partner TSMC and diversify its supply chain. Sources familiar with the matter stated that the talks are still in the early stage, and no formal orders have been finalized for any such arrangements so far. Apple remains cautious about adopting chip manufacturing technology from parties other than TSMC, and may ultimately decide not to cooperate with any outside suppliers.
