MediaTek Launches R&D Data Center Powered by NVIDIA DGX B200 Platform

On May 7, MediaTek unveiled for the first time its self-built R&D data center located in the Tongluo Science Park, Miaoli, and announced the official launch of the first phase. MediaTek pointed out that the entire campus will be built in three phases, each with a capacity of 15MW, and the total computing power capacity will reach 45MW upon full completion, serving as a key backbone for MediaTek's advancement into the AI era. The data center is the first in Taiwan to be built with the NVIDIA DGX B200 platform as an NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD AI supercomputing center, and it also incorporates large-scale immersion cooling technology. In addition, MediaTek has introduced Taiwan's first autonomous mobile inspection robot for use in data centers.
