ASML Expands its AI Chip Market, Increasing Packaging and Equipment Product Line

According to foreign media reports, ASML plans to expand its chip manufacturing equipment product line into several new areas to capture a larger share of the rapidly growing artificial intelligence (AI) chip market. This plan includes expanding its advanced packaging business for AI chips, leveraging AI technology to improve tool performance and production speed, and exploring larger-sized chips and new scanning systems. As the world's only manufacturer of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography equipment, ASML has invested billions of dollars in research and development over more than a decade. Its next-generation EUV products are nearing mass production, and potential third-generation products are also under development.
