Samsung Electronics’ next-generation high-bandwidth memory, HBM4, has received the highest evaluation scores in tests for Nvidia’s upcoming artificial intelligence accelerator, set to launch next year, industry sources said.Taking into account expansion plans and production capacity at its Pyeongtaek P4 line, Samsung is expected to formally sign a supply contract in the first quarter of next year, with full-scale deliveries starting in the second quarter, sources said. Samsung declined to officially comment on matters related to Nvidia’s testing process.
