YMTC Wins 3D NAND Patent Battle in Germany; Micron-Related Infringing Products Banned from Sale

On September 18 (local time), the 7th Civil Chamber of the Munich I Regional Court in Germany issued rulings on two cases in YMTC's series of patent infringement lawsuits against Micron. The court found that Micron had infringed upon two German utility model rights held by YMTC and issued injunctions ordering Micron to cease the sale of the relevant infringing products in Germany. This marks YMTC's first substantial injunction victory worldwide since the comprehensive patent battle between the two companies erupted in November 2023.
