NVIDIA Requests Samsung to Expedite HBM4 Delivery to Ensure Supply

According to Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics is conducting final quality inspections to ensure mass production and shipment of HBM4 by the end of February. However, NVIDIA has requested HBM4 supply of Samsung Electronics in advance regardless of the test results. Because of competitors, such as AMD and Google, accelerating their efforts, NVIDIA starts acting swiftly to ensure HBM4 supply. Currently, both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are in the process of HBM4 final quality tests. Analysis indicates that NVIDIA has requested expedited delivery by skipping detailed testing as product quality has already been verified to certain extent.
