SK Hynix Launches First 1c LPDDR6

On March 10th, SK Hynix announced the successful development of a 16Gb LPDDR6 DRAM memory product based on its sixth-generation 10nm-class (1c) process, designed specifically for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices equipped with edge AI. The product was first unveiled at CES in January and has now completed the world's first 1c process LPDDR6 development and verification. Mass production preparation is planned for the first half of the year, with official shipments expected in the second half. Compared to the previous generation LPDDR5X, its data processing speed is improved by 33%, and power consumption is reduced by more than 20%, significantly optimizing the AI ​​experience and battery life of mobile devices.
