According to sources in South Korea's semiconductor industry, Samsung Electronics' sales of its sixth-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM4) have surpassed the $1 billion mark, setting a new precedent in the global chip industry. Samsung commenced mass production and shipments of HBM4 globally on February 12, achieving this milestone in just over four months. The company's HBM4 revenue is projected to exceed $1.2 billion by the end of June.
