JD.com Launches Construction of World's Largest Embodied Intelligence Data Acquisition Center

By: QIN 10 hours ago

On March 16th, JD.com announced the completion of the world's largest and most comprehensive embodied intelligence data acquisition center. Leveraging its strong supply chain advantages and rich real-world business scenarios in retail and logistics, JD.com has built a data pipeline covering the entire process of "collection—labeling—training—verification," aiming to address industry pain points in the embodied intelligence field, such as insufficient training and difficulties in implementation due to a lack of real-world scenario data.

This data collection will involve hundreds of thousands of people, including 100,000 JD.com employees, up to 500,000 external industry practitioners, and over 100,000 residents of Suqian, covering more than 100 sub-scenarios. All data collection will be conducted in accordance with laws and regulations. According to the plan, 5 million hours of real-world human video data will be accumulated within one year, exceeding 10 million hours within two years, while simultaneously collecting 1 million hours of robot body data, addressing the "data shortage" at its source and injecting strong momentum into the trillion-dollar embodied intelligence industry.
