Intel Officially Proposes "Agentic PC" Concept

Intel has officially introduced the concept of "Agentic PC." According to  Gary Gao, General Manager of Technology at Intel China, the core of the Agentic PC is device-cloud hybrid AI. The cloud side handles stronger reasoning and long-context processing, while the local side is responsible for privacy protection, low-cost operation, and high-frequency task processing. Through intelligent routing, optimal allocation of capabilities is achieved. Product forms include laptops, Mini PCs, all-in-ones, AI Box, AI NAS, edge gateways, and more. It is reported that the mainstream configuration of the Agentic PC features third-generation Core Ultra 8-core/16-core processors, 16GB or more of memory, and runs medium-weight language models such as Qwen3.5 (9B/4B).
