China's First AI Data Analysis Platform for New Energy Storage Put into Operation

China's first artificial intelligence data analysis platform for the new energy storage field was officially put into operation recently. Led by China Southern Power Grid, the platform enables flexible access to various types of energy storage equipment. Relying on AI's autonomous learning and massive data analysis capabilities, it can remotely identify potential equipment hazards and automatically generate operation and maintenance plans.

Currently, the platform has been deployed in eight new energy storage power stations in Guangdong, Yunnan, and Hainan provinces, with over 2.3 million data collection points. After a year of trial operation, the equipment failure rate of the eight power stations decreased by 34%, the amount of renewable energy consumed increased by approximately 30%, and the system's regulation capacity was significantly enhanced.
