According to the latest report from Omdia, China's PC market saw shipments grow 6% year-on-year in 2025, reaching 42.1 million units, primarily driven by strong commercial demand and a relatively steady consumer market performance in the first half of 2025. Tablets outperformed the PC category, with full-year shipments increasing 14% to 36 million units, supported by consumer subsidy policies and the expansion of commercial application deployments. Omdia forecasts that China's PC shipments will decline 10% year-on-year in 2026 to 37.9 million units, with the consumer market expected to see an even sharper drop of 12% year-on-year. Affected by the high base in 2025, tablet shipments are projected to decline 11% in 2026 to 32.1 million units.
