Samsung Electronics Purchases KRW 8.6 Billion Memory Testers from Neosem

By: M 7 hours ago

According to Korean media reports, Neosem announced that it has signed a contract with Samsung Electronics to supply CLT memory testers. The contract is valued at KRW 8.6 billion, equivalent to approximately 13.5% of Neosem's consolidated revenue for 2025. Based on the contract value, each system is expected to be priced at over KRW 2 billion. CLT is used to verify the secondary stability of DRAM after burn-in testing. The system can precisely evaluate low-speed data read/write operations, idle-state stability, and long-term reliability of DRAM devices. Samsung Electronics has been using CLT testers from both Neosem and Exicon as part of its supplier diversification strategy, while also ensuring CIB interchangeability between equipment from different manufacturers.
