By: M 8 hours ago

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang introduced the RTX Spark at GTC Taipei on June 1.

Co-developed by NVIDIA and MediaTek, RTX Spark chip features a Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores supporting FP4 precision. It is connected via NVIDIA NVLink®-C2C chip-to-chip interconnect to a high-performance 20-core NVIDIA Grace™ CPU, and supports up to 128 GB of unified memory.

According to NVIDIA, RTX Spark-powered laptops and compact desktops will be launched in the fall of this year by OEMs including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI, followed by Acer and GIGABYTE.

Jensen Huang also unveiled a roadmap extending to 2030. The next-generation RTX Spark will feature a Vera CPU paired with a Rubin GPU, with memory upgraded to LPDDR6 while the subsequent generation will move to a Rosa CPU and Feynman GPU architecture.

NVIDIA's entry into the PC chip market is not a one-time crossover experiment, but rather a commitment to the RTX Spark as a long-term product line.
