Montage Technology Reports 64%–81% YoY Growth in 1H26 Net Profit Attributable to Parent

Montage Technology has released its preliminary performance results for the first half of 2026. Based on initial estimates, the company achieved operating revenue of approximately RMB 3.335 billion for the first half of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 26.6%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 1.9 billion to RMB 2.1 billion, up 63.9% to 81.2% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company excluding non-recurring gains and losses amounted to RMB 1.25 billion to RMB 1.45 billion, with an increase of 14.5% to 32.9% year-on-year. After excluding the impact of share-based compensation expenses, net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 2.08 billion to RMB 2.28 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 56.1% to 71.1%. 

On a quarterly basis, the company expects Q2 revenue to reach RMB 1.874 billion, representing a 28.3% sequential increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company is projected at RMB 1.053 billion to RMB 1.253 billion, up 24.2% to 47.8% quarter-over-quarter. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company excluding non-recurring gains and losses is estimated at RMB 646 million to RMB 846 million, representing a sequential increase of 7% to 40.1%.

Montage Technology expects significant growth in its operating performance, primarily driven by the AI industry trend and robust market demand. On the one hand, as the DDR5 penetration rate continues to rise and sub-generations undergo iterative upgrades, the company's shipments of DDR5 RCD chips have increased substantially, with the third and fourth sub-generation RCD chips accounting for a growing share of total shipments. On the other hand, revenue from new interconnect chip products, including MRCD/MDB, PCIe Retimer, CKD, and CXLMXC chips, has climbed notably.
