A18 Pro Chip Shortage Reportedly to Cut MacBook Neo Shipments by 40%

According to foreign media reports, as NVIDIA replaces Apple as TSMC's largest customer, the biggest bottleneck for MacBook Neo sales growth lies in whether the supply of A18 Pro chips will be sufficient. The initial shipment forecast for the MacBook Neo was 10 million units, but due to the A18 Pro chip shortage, this year's shipments are expected to be revised down to 6 million to 7 million units. It is reported that the second-generation MacBook Neo will be equipped with the A19 Pro chip, but given that TSMC's 3nm process capacity is already saturated, similar issues are expected to arise.
