Samsung Galaxy A18 4G and 5G Versions Reportedly to Use MediaTek and Qualcomm APs Respectively

According to a Korean media report, Samsung Electronics plans to use MediaTek and Qualcomm products as the application processors for the 4G and 5G versions of its Galaxy A18, respectively. Industry insiders revealed that mass production of components for the 4G version has already begun, while component mass production for the 5G version is expected to proceed depending on Qualcomm's readiness. Samsung reportedly plans to start mass production of finished Galaxy A18 4G units in August. The current monthly production targets for the 4G version are set at 100,000 units in August, 2.4 million units in September, and 2.5 million units in October. The production plans are subject to adjustment based on market conditions.
