Samsung Electronics has unveiled the P9 and P7 portable SSDs (pSSDs), both featuring USB4 connectivity. The P9 pSSD delivers high-end performance for professional users, supporting 12K direct recording with sequential read and write speeds of up to 4,000 MB/s and 3,800 MB/s, respectively. The P7 pSSD is designed for fast and convenient storage in everyday use scenarios, and has passed 2-meter drop, shock, and vibration resistance tests. Both the P9 and P7 pSSDs are available in four capacity options: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, and 8TB.
