According to media reports, TSMC's CoWoS orders are fully booked through 2027, with some customers facing wait times of more than a year to secure capacity. As TSMC's supply bottlenecks persist, Intel's new technology is gaining attention as an alternative solution. It is reported that MediaTek officially announced during its recent earnings call that it plans to adopt both CoWoS and EMIB-T technologies to develop AI application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) at scale. Broadcom and Meta are also said to be considering a transition from CoWoS to EMIB to reduce costs, while Google and Nvidia have shown strong interest in EMIB-T as well.
