Silicon Motion(SMI) recently announced that it has obtained the ISO/SAE 21434:2021 automotive cybersecurity process certification issued by SGS-TÜV Saar. Through independent verification by SGS-TÜV Saar, SMI's automotive cybersecurity development and management processes comply with the requirements of ISO/SAE 21434. The standard is an internationally recognized cybersecurity engineering standard for road vehicles. SMI stated that the company has been deeply engaged in the automotive memory market for more than 10 years, and with the rapid development of intelligent connected vehicles, software-defined vehicles, and AI in-vehicle applications, information security has become an important threshold for automotive storage. In the future, it will continue to strengthen the cybersecurity capabilities of its automotive products and expand secure, reliable, and automotive-grade compliant memory solutions.
