On May 28, BYD held an intelligent strategy launch event themed "Dare to Act" in Shenzhen. At the event, BYD unveiled the Xuanji A3 chip, the company's first self-developed high-compute smart driving chip and China's first self-developed 4nm intelligent driving chip. In terms of hardware specifications, three chips installed in a single vehicle can deliver over 2100 TOPS of total computing power, supporting L3 and L4-level advanced autonomous driving features. BYD stated that compared to similar industry products, the Xuanji A3 reduces power consumption per unit of computing power by 20%. Combined with BYD's self-developed underlying algorithm optimizations, the overall computing power utilization is doubled.
