SMIC Releases Q4 2025 Financial Results: Steady Progress

SMIC released its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025. The company achieved revenue of US$2.489 billion, a 4.5% increase quarter-over-quarter compared to Q3 2025 and a 12.8% increase year-over-year compared to Q4 2024. Gross profit was US$478 million, a decrease of 8.5% quarter-over-quarter and 4.2% year-over-year. The gross margin was 19.2%, a decrease of 2.8 percentage points quarter-over-quarter and 3.4 percentage points year-over-year. Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2026, SMIC expects quarterly revenue to remain flat quarter-over-quarter, with a gross margin between 18% and 20%.
