Reports Indicate that Tesla Delays AI6 Chip's Multi-Project Wafer Test at Samsung's 2nm Node

According to South Korean media reports, due to delays in Tesla's plans, Samsung Foundry has been forced to postpone its scheduled 2nm advanced process multi-project wafer (MPW) prototyping service from this April to six months later. It has affected the DX-M2 project of Korean fabless company DeepX. DeepX had originally planned to begin mass production of the DX-M2 in the second quarter of next year. Due to the delay in MPW progress, the mass production timeline has also been pushed back. Currently, quality testing is not expected to begin until at least the third quarter, with full-scale sales potentially delayed until the fourth quarter of next year.
