Raspberry Pi Raises Product Prices Due to LPDDR4 Memory Price Hikes

By: M 10 hours ago

Raspberry Pi has officially announced that, against the backdrop of LPDDR4 memory prices rising sevenfold compared to a year ago, the company has once again been forced to adjust product pricing to pass on some of the costs to users. The price adjustments range from $11.25 to $150, with the most significant increase affecting the unit-only version of the Raspberry Pi 500+ keyboard computer. To optimize its cost structure, Raspberry Pi has introduced a new Pi 4 3GB memory variant, priced at $83.75, expanding the Pi 4 memory configuration options to five tiers: 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, and 8GB. The adjustments take effect immediately.
