Tencent Cloud Announces 5% Price Increase for AI Computing, Container Services, and EMR Products

On April 9, Tencent Cloud announced that, due to surging global demand for AI computing and rising core hardware supply chain costs, it will raise list prices for AI computing products, TKE-native node container services, and Elastic MapReduce (EMR) related products by a uniform 5%, effective May 9, 2026.

This marks Tencent Cloud’s second price adjustment within a month — as early as March 11, Tencent Cloud had already taken the lead in raising prices for its Hunyuan model services, with some services seeing increases of over 400%. Previously, on March 18, Alibaba Cloud and Baidu AI Cloud successively announced their own price hikes for AI computing services.
