On local time May 7, NVIDIA announced on its official website that it has entered into multiple strategic cooperation agreements with IREN. The collaboration includes supporting the deployment of up to 5 gigawatts of NVIDIA DSX-aligned AI infrastructure within IREN's global data center pipeline; jointly deploying NVIDIA accelerated computing at DSX AI Factories to expand access for AI-native startups and enterprise clients; IREN granting NVIDIA a five-year warrant to purchase up to 30 million shares of ordinary stock at an exercise price of $70 per share; and NVIDIA committing to invest up to $2.1 billion in IREN. The two parties will also jointly deploy billions of dollars worth of computing power. Future deployments are expected to focus on IREN's 2-gigawatt Sweetwater campus in Texas, which the companies expect to serve as a flagship deployment for NVIDIA's DSX architecture.
