Apollo, Blackstone Reportedly Consider to Provide $35 Billion Financing for Broadcom

According to media reports, Apollo Global Management and Blackstone Group are in talks with Broadcom regarding a roughly $35 billion financing package aimed at funding the development of artificial intelligence (AI) chips. The deal, which would be one of the largest private credit transactions ever, is expected to help Broadcom finance its AI expansion, including a long-term agreement to develop and supply custom tensor processing units (TPUs) for Google.
