Early Core Member of OpenAI's Chip Project Announces Move to Anthropic

Clive Chan, an early core member of OpenAI's in-house chip development project, announced on June 7 that he has left OpenAI and officially joined Anthropic, where he will provide chip technology research and development services. Chan was the second employee hired into OpenAI's hardware team and was deeply involved in the custom chip project. He expressed his eagerness to "climb a new peak from the ground up once again" and spoke highly of Anthropic's talent and values.
