CXMT Reportedly Plans New Plant in Beijing

According to sources cited by media, CXMT is considering building a new 12-inch DRAM fab in Yizhuang, about 20 km southeast of central Beijing. The sources also indicated that the company is in discussions with the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area regarding investment and financing plans, seeking at least 60 million yuan in financial support. Several other state-owned tech enterprises have also expressed interest in participating in the financing. It is worth noting that the negotiations remain at an early stage, and the size and structure of any funding package could still be subject to change.
