Apple and Google officially announced a multi-year cooperation agreement to jointly promote the development of the next generation of "Apple-branded AI." According to the joint statement, Apple’s future foundation AI models will be built based on Google’s Gemini and its cloud technology, and will be used to support multiple Apple Intelligence features, including the new personalized Siri. Following the announcement, the stock price of Google’s parent company, Alphabet, surged, with its market capitalization briefly exceeding the $4 trillion mark, making it the fourth company in history to reach this milestone, after NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple.
