Microsoft to Launch 8GB Surface Laptop Amid Memory Prices Pressure

Microsoft has announced that the new Surface Laptop for Business and Surface Pro for Business are now available in some markets, powered by Intel's next-gen Core Ultra Series 3 architecture. The 13-inch new Surface Laptop for Business is officially on sale in certain regions starting today, offered in 16GB and 24GB memory configurations with a starting suggested retail price of $1,499. An 8GB variant will be rolled out later this year at a starting suggested retail price of $1,299.99. It has been the first Surface PC equipped with less than 16GB of RAM since the launch of Copilot+ PCs back in 2024.
