Google Launches Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low) and Resets All Quotas

According to media reports, Google has introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash (Low) in response to user feedback that “even simple tasks consume too many tokens,” and has reset all quotas for both free and paid Gemini plans. Varun Mohan, Director at Google DeepMind and head of Antigravity, stated that the team noticed users felt Antigravity was using too many tokens on simple tasks, leading to the release of this more token-efficient version. In internal tests, the Low version consumes about 45% fewer tokens than the Medium version and also outperforms the earlier Gemini 3 Flash (High) on software engineering tasks.
