According to foreign media reports, industry sources say that due to a global memory supply shortage and soaring prices, major PC manufacturers such as HP, Dell, Acer, and ASUS are considering purchasing memory chips from China for the first time. HP and Dell have already initiated the certification process for DRAM products from China's Changxin Memory Technologies (CXMT). If the supply shortage continues, HP may purchase chips from non-US markets by the middle of this year.
