Pony.ai's Generation 7 Robotaxi Achieves Per-Vehicle Profitability in Shenzhen

On March 2, Pony.ai announced that its Generation 7 Robotaxi achieved monthly breakeven in per-vehicle operating profit in Shenzhen as of February 2026. Following the company's first achievement of this milestone in Guangzhou in November 2025, Pony.ai has now secured key breakthroughs in two first-tier cities, marking substantial progress in the market-oriented operations of Robotaxis.

Operating data shows that as of February 28, the average daily net revenue per Generation 7 Robotaxi vehicle in Shenzhen reached 338 yuan, with an average of 23 daily orders per vehicle. User demand continued to climb—by February 16, paid ride orders in Shenzhen year-to-date had already surpassed the total for all of 2025. During the Spring Festival holiday, average daily paid orders per vehicle reached 26, significantly higher than the industry average.
