Apple Reportedly Hoarding Mobile DRAM at High Prices to Squeeze Competitors

According to foreign media reports, Apple is hoarding all available mobile DRAM on the market at very high prices in order to prevent competitors from securing enough chips. This strategy has already begun to show results. MediaTek and Qualcomm have both reduced their production of 4nm chips, cutting the supply of mobile chips by 15 to 20 million units, significantly impacting the low-to-mid-range smartphone market. Meanwhile, Samsung has raised prices on several tablet and smartphone models in South Korea, indirectly reflecting the cost pressure from chips.
