NVIDIA Launches World's First Open Source Quantum AI Model

On April 14 (World Quantum Day), NVIDIA officially launched "Ising," the world's first open-source quantum AI model series, designed to help researchers and companies build quantum processors capable of running practical applications. The model comprises two core components: Ising Calibration, a 35 billion-parameter visual language model that can reduce quantum processor calibration time from days to hours; and Ising Decoding, which uses a 3D convolutional neural network to achieve a 2.5x speedup and a 3x accuracy improvement in quantum error correction decoding.
