ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. Acquires Innolux's Tainan Plant for NT$14.85 Billion

According to Taiwanese media reports, ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. recently acquired Innolux Corporation's Fab 5 plant and related facilities in the Tainan Southern Science Park for NT$14.85 billion. ASE stated that the main purpose of this transaction is to expand its advanced packaging capacity to meet future semiconductor market demands. The plant will be used to deploy advanced packaging technologies, helping the company improve its overall capacity and competitiveness.
