Oracle and OpenAI Expand Strategic Collaboration

Oracle has announced a significant expansion of its collaboration with OpenAI, including a $300 billion contract to supply computing power over five years. In addition to the financial commitment, Oracle has integrated OpenAI's GPT-5 model across its database and cloud application portfolio. This deployment enables customers to leverage advanced AI capabilities for coding, reasoning, and data analysis directly within their business workflows. The partnership also includes Oracle's contribution to OpenAI's Stargate initiative, which aims to expand AI infrastructure in the U.S. by developing 4.5 gigawatts of additional data center capacity. This collaboration supports OpenAI's broader goal of investing $500 billion in AI infrastructure over four years and is expected to generate over 100,000 jobs in construction, operations, and related sectors.
