ASUS: Strategic Price Adjustment for Selected Product Lines to Take Effect on January 5, 2026

Liao Yixiang, General Manager of the System Business Group at ASUSTeK Computer Inc., issued the "2026 Product Price Adjustment Notice" on December 30, announcing a strategic price adjustment for selected product lines expected to take effect on January 5, 2026.
The notice stated that affected by structural fluctuations in the global supply chain, many key components are under severe cost inflation pressure, particularly DRAM and NAND/SSD. This change stems from adjustments to global original equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) production capacity allocation, increased investment costs for advanced manufacturing processes, and structural industry shortages driven by AI computing power demand. These impacts have gradually been reflected in overall system planning and cost structures, becoming a common challenge for the entire industry.
After carefully evaluating the market environment, supply stability, and product quality commitments—while upholding ASUS’ core value of providing customers with industry-leading R&D capabilities—the company has decided to implement the strategic price adjustment for selected product lines starting January 5, 2026. This adjustment is a necessary decision made after long-term absorption and response to cost pressures, aiming to ensure stable supply and maintain consistent quality and service standards.
