Meta Reports 61% YoY Net Profit Growth in Q1, Raises Full-Year CapEx Outlook

Meta released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026 ending March 31. According to the earnings report, Meta posted total revenue of 56.311 billion US dollars in the first quarter, with a year-on-year increase of 33%; net profit reached 26.773 billion US dollars, surging 61% year over year. The company projects second-quarter revenue to range from $58 billion to $61 billion, with a consensus estimate of $59.56 billion. Meta now expects full-year capital expenditures to be between $125 billion and $145 billion, up from its prior forecast of $115 billion to $135 billion. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that all of the company's app businesses maintain a strong growth momentum and the first model from Meta Superintelligence Labs has been lauched in Q1, noting that the company is on track to bring personal superintelligence to billions of people worldwide.
