According to media reports, Noh Mi-jung, senior vice president of Samsung Electronics' Foundry Business Unit, announced the medium- and long-term business plan at a recent investor relations event. The unit's customer base has now reached about three times that of 2017 and is expected to further increase to about four times by 2029. Meanwhile, the share of high-performance computing (HPC) business in foundry revenue has risen from 5% in 2017 to 28% at present, and the company plans to increase it to 66% by 2029.
