ADATA: Revenue Hits New High for Two Consecutive Months, Storage Prices Bullish with Expected Shortages Until 2027

By: M 6 days ago

ADATA's consolidated revenue for April reached NT$10.56 billion, up 4.6% month-on-month and a sharp 170% year-on-year, marking a new all-time monthly high for two consecutive months. Benefiting from the widening uptrend in NAND Flash contract prices, the revenue of its SSD business hit NT$3.22 billion in April, also setting a new historical record and accounting for 30.5% of total revenue. DRAM products maintained a revenue share of 61.2%. Both product lines have benefited from the reversal of the supply-demand balance in the memory storage industry. ADATA forecasts that contract prices of DRAM and NAND Flash will surge by over 40% in the second quarter of 2026. Driven by the continuous expansion of demand for AI large models and inference applications, the company holds a more optimistic outlook on NAND Flash prices in the second half of this year. ADATA also believes the supply gap will continue to widen, and the market will remain in a supply shortage throughout 2027.
