MediaTek has released its revenue report for September 2026.

The report shows that MediaTek's consolidated revenue for September was NT$55.399 billion, down 13.69% MoM and up 1.97% YoY. Cumulative consolidated revenue for January-September totaled NT$469.391 billion, up 5.30% YoY.

According to statistics, MediaTek's third-quarter consolidated revenue reached NT$168.058 billion, up 10.43% QoQ and 18.27% YoY, surpassing the upper end of its original guidance of NT$159.8 billion, beating the company's earlier expectation and setting a new single-quarter record.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, MediaTek launched its flagship chips Dimensity 9600 Pro and 9600M in September. The Pro model adopts TSMC's 2nm process and strengthens on-device agentic AI computing capabilities. New phone adoptions and terminal sales will drive fourth-quarter shipments.

However, according to supply chain sources, the decline in smartphone shipments is gradually becoming apparent, and shipments are expected to weaken in November, with order visibility likely to diminish accordingly.

In addition to mobile communication chips, MediaTek's ASIC business continues to contribute, and its first AI accelerator ASIC is expected to enter mass production this quarter. MediaTek expects data center-related revenue to exceed US$2 billion in 2026.
