Anthropic Reportedly Building Team to Design Custom Chips for Claude

According to media reports, job postings show that Anthropic is hiring engineers to design custom chips for its Claude AI models. An Anthropic spokesperson said the company is forming an internal chip team to develop custom silicon for Claude, marking the first time that the company has publicly acknowledged the plan. Anthropic will pursue co-design of hardware and models, enabling Claude to run faster and more efficiently at the scale customers require.
