Meta Advances In-House AI Chips: Four Products Planned by 2027

To meet surging AI computing demand, Meta plans to deploy four next-generation in-house AI chips by the end of 2027, covering scenarios such as content recommendation and generative AI inference. Currently, the MTIA 300, primarily used for content recommendation training, has entered mass production. The MTIA 400 (codename: Iris) has completed testing and will soon be deployed. The remaining two chips, MTIA 450 (codename: Arke) and MTIA 500 (codename: Astrid), are scheduled for launch in 2027.
